The menu is succinct and meat-oriented, but also includes a number of traditional local dishes. During the week, a "Pranzo di lavoro" will allow you to have lunch like the locals for just over 10 euros. In the evening and on weekends, you can choose from the beef menu and watch your selection being carved up on the counter of Madame la bouchère. Don't leave without a Punch à la Livournaise: a coffee that'll get you over whatever emotions you're feeling.
